Oct 2023 - Jun 2024Led a team of six Content and Curriculum Designers in creating standards-aligned Math and ELA practice content (K–12) for Pear Practice. Under my leadership, the team consistently delivered ahead of schedule, earned performance bonuses, and achieved full alignment between Pear Practice and Pear Deck content to streamline teacher adoption and save instructional time.
Conducted UX research that identified a key need to optimize library search. Partnered with Engineering to enhance content discovery and usability, developing a fuzzy-match system that surfaced standards-aligned practice sets while maintaining precision for educators.
Designed and piloted a generative-AI content development framework that balanced automation with human quality assurance. Personally led the design, testing, and iteration of this framework, transforming a manual, multi-person process into an agile, one-hour system. The result was a step-change improvement in scalability and consistency, allowing the team to focus on creative, pedagogical, and data-driven refinements.
This work reflected my broader focus on research-driven impact, data-informed content strategy, and scalable innovation, blending human insight with responsible AI integration to enhance learning outcomes and educator experience.
